Brand & Marketing Communications Manager - Boston, MA
We are seeking candidates for a Brand & Marketing Communications Manager position with a global medical technology company located in Boston, MA. The Brand & Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for developing multi‑channel communicates designed to support product launches and key initiatives for the company. In addition, this position will provide project management support to create effective marketing materials (i.e. digital, print, trade shows, webinars, videos, etc.)
and serve as a brand steward, ensuring all materials align with corporate guidelines and providing guidance on marketing standards as needed. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of marketing communications experience in medical device, life sciences or agency settings.
This is a 6-month contract position that will pay $40-48/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour workweek. This position supports a hybrid work model onsite 2-3 days per week in their Boston office.
Responsibilities- Partner with global teams and leaders to develop and execute market engagement strategies, including branding, awareness, lead generation, SEO, website positioning, media strategy, and KPI tracking.
- Ensure all marketing materials align with corporate brand standards, compliance requirements, and trademark guidelines.
- Lead development and rollout of consistent global brand messaging across digital and print collateral.
- Manage marketing projects from concept through execution, overseeing timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
- Collaborate with tradeshow, events, and sales teams to support meeting execution, stakeholder communications, and onsite coordination.
- Partner with internal teams to optimize digital assets and platforms (e.g., DAM, CRM, CMS, sales enablement tools).
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure alignment with communication strategies and project goals.
- Drive continuous improvement of marketing processes and workflows.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs to assess performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Provide additional support as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field required
- 5-7+ years of marketing communications experience within medical device, life sciences, healthcare, software, agency, or related industries.
- Experience managing end-to-end agency relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Smartsheet (required).
- Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, Hub Spot, Brandfolder, Print on Demand, Showpad, or similar systems.
- Demonstrated experience managing project timelines, copy review and approvals, stakeholder engagement, and global deliverables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with corporate and industry standards.
