Job Description

Pay Range: $30.50hr - $35.50hr

  • The Marketing Associate will support brand growth and rider engagement through localized content creation, social media strategy, and community outreach initiatives.
  • This role requires a creative, data-driven marketer who can build strong community connections, increase brand visibility, and drive ridership through compelling storytelling and event participation.
Responsibilities Social Media And Content Creation
  • Develop localized content for social media platforms including Instagram posts, Reels, Stories, Bluesky, Facebook, and other relevant channels.
  • Collaborate with brand ambassadors to highlight rider experiences, system updates, and community stories.
  • Identify and implement innovative strategies to engage riders, increase ridership, and foster brand loyalty.
  • Assist in writing and producing monthly blog content that promotes bikeshare usage and highlights milestones and updates.
  • Monitor trends and recommend content optimizations to improve reach and engagement.
Community Engagement And Events
  • Attend local events to promote brand visibility and expand community partnerships.
  • Identify new community partnership opportunities to attract new riders.
  • Represent the organization at corporate and institutional events to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Support grassroots marketing initiatives and local outreach campaigns.
Reporting And Analytics
  • Track social media performance metrics and engagement data.
  • Create reports on channel performance for leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on analytics to improve campaign effectiveness.
Requirements / Must Have
  • 2–3 years of experience in social media content creation for a brand, institution, or organization.
  • Ability to provide examples of past work or maintain active professional social media profiles.
  • Strong understanding of social posting processes, audience targeting, and best practices.
  • Experience creating performance and engagement reports.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, and Cap Cut.
Soft Skills
  • Creative mindset with strong storytelling abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Passion for community engagement and local brand building.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
