What you’ll do:

As Social Media Specialist, you'll be the voice of our brand across platforms. You’ll own the strategy, content, and execution of a social presence that celebrates our mission and builds community among host families, au pairs, and future program participants.

  • Lead audience engagement and reach across our brand accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, Pinterest, Linked In and emerging platforms)
  • Develop, launch, and optimize a social media strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and lead generation
  • Analyze performance and create insightful reports that tell the story of our social presence, and inform strategy and future initiatives
  • Plan, write and produce compelling content – stories, videos, graphics, and reels that bring our brand to life.
  • Showcase authentic voices from our community: real families, au pairs, staff and LCCs.
  • Collaborate closely with content, design, video and marketing teams to develop campaigns and integrate social into larger digital and traditional marketing campaigns
  • Partner with our Content Manager to integrate larger company goals on social media and surface authentic, user‑generated stories that inspire our audience and drive conversions
  • Develop and lead a host family content and influencer strategy to position Cultural Care as a trusted leader in the childcare and cultural exchange space.
  • Train and inspire our Local Childcare Counselors on how to use social media to promote themselves, CCAP, and generate interest in the program in their markets.
  • Lead community management—monitoring comments/DMs, fostering conversation, listening to our community on socials, and protecting brand voice
  • Stay ahead of trends by actively researching new tools, channels, and competitor approaches
Who you are:
  • 3-5 years of professional social media marketing experience (brand side or agency)
  • Proven track record of building and executing campaigns from concept to reporting
  • You are obsessed with keeping up with the latest trends and industry standards even as platform best practices quickly change and constantly evolve
  • Comfortable with analytics tools and reporting, you use data to iterate and improve
  • Skilled at hands‑on daily execution of campaigns that ladder up to big‑picture organizational goals
  • Smart, social‑first writer
  • Experienced in on‑camera content creation, native platform tools, and using Canva for graphics and light design
  • Thrive in across functional, multicultural team and enjoy sharing best practices
  • Collaborative, curious, and energized by connecting people to a mission‑driven brand
  • You are a team player who understands the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication across a global organization
  • Familiar with Sprout Social, Asana, and other content management platforms
