Job Description
We are currently hiring for a Communications Co‑Op at our office in the Seaport District of Boston, MA. This position is from July 2026–December 2026.
What You’ll Brew- Support the Boston Beer Company communications team including external, internal and consumer communications
- Manage the day-to-day responses to drinker contacts across all brands using CRM system
- Answer consumer inquiries by email promptly and thoroughly in a friendly and courteous manner
- Write and maintain brand messaging for drinker-facing communications
- Assist in regular data mining and brand insights reporting
- Prepare and send mailers to media and drinkers including but not limited to: product samples, refund checks, swag, etc.
- Build media lists, editorial calendars, pitch materials, research backgrounders, and provide general PR support for brand leads
- Attend team, department and cross‑functional meetings for exposure to other areas of the business and stretch opportunities as desired
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program
- Valid Social Security Number needed by first day of employment
- Must be able to commute daily to the Boston Design Center in the Seaport District of Boston, MA.
- Course work and interest in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or similar
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power
BI, PowerPoint, and Outlook - Candidate must be confident, collaborative, solutions‑oriented and self‑starter who is an adept multi‑tasker with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Prior professional experience is required, preferably with some customer service experience
- Sound judgment and risk assessment skills
- Good team player: you will interact with many people in the company, and we are the voice of the company.
- A willingness to learn about Boston Beer Company products and history
In accordance with pay transparency laws the rate for this role if hired is $18–$20 an hour.
