Job Description

We are currently hiring for our next Social Impact Programs Co-Op at our office in the Seaport District of Boston, MA. This would be for the July 2026 - December 2026 Co-op cycle.

The Social Impact Programs Co-op position will have the opportunity to engage with cause marketing, and to grow our community impact by supporting the Social Impact team through our co-worker volunteer program, charitable donations, brand specific campaigns, and the engagement of our internal community of coworkers. This Co-op will support the Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream program that is focused on providing capital and coaching to food and beverage entrepreneurs through a variety of events and resources.

The Co-op will be able to work generally on many tasks (gaining broad experience), while simultaneously focusing on a few tasks (achieving specific accomplishments).

This Co-op gives the student the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the Boston Beer Company including communications, public relations, social media, corporate social responsibility, and brand marketing. The Co-op will gain important resume-building experience in a fast-paced corporate environment. The Co-op will work cross functionally with both internal and external stakeholders where day to day activities will never be one in the same.

What

You'll Do
  • Support logistics and execution of in person and digital programming for the Brewing the American Dream Program
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Brewing the American Dream entrepreneurs through Coaching Call support, inbox administration, and new entrepreneur onboarding
  • Manage and lead the social media strategy for Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream
  • Assist with Donations through inbox administration, paperwork processing, and relationship management with community partners
  • Research, administer, and track progress with Benevolence Days platform
  • Collaborate and support work with the People, Culture & Strategy Dept and Marketing on a variety of projects and research
  • Participate at in-person events as it related to community impact both with external partners and internal Boston Beer coworkers
  • Will support research projects, managing office materials, inventory and shipping as needed.
  • There will be opportunities for the student to volunteer for special projects and events (if interested)
What We're Looking For
  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor's Degree program
  • Course work and interest in in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility, Cause Marketing, etc. is strongly preferred.
  • Valid Social Security Number needed by first day of employment
  • Must be able to commute to the Boston Design Center in the Seaport District of Boston, MA.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook;
    Design experience is preferred
  • Prior customer service experience is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Professional attitude and demeanor
  • Must be self-motivated and proactive
  • Good team player and will to work with different stakeholders
  • Sound judgment, knowledge of when to ask questions and when to work independently
  • Represent Boston Beer Company at all times; the person in this role will interact with many people in and outside of the company

In accordance with pay transparency laws the rate for this role if hired is $18 - $20 an hour.
