Our AI-powered, lab-validated biologics discovery platform has led to partnerships with top biopharma companies including Lilly, J&J, and UCB.
We are now preparing to advance our internal pipeline into the clinic, targeting challenging diseases in I&I and oncology. We have been covered by major biotech media such as Fierce Biotech and Endpoints News.
As we expand strategic engagement with a broader audience, including media and the general public, we are seeking an entrepreneurial, results-driven Senior Global PR Manager to lead comprehensive global communications outreach. You will play a pivotal role in building and strengthening Ailux’s global reputation and ensuring communications activities are aligned with Ailux’s business objectives.
This position offers a rare opportunity to develop and execute the long-term branding and thought-leadership strategy for a high-growth global biotech company with cutting-edge technologies. You will report to and partner with the Director of Corporate Communications, and work closely with the CEO, VP of BD, and other senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and oversee the global media strategy, including proactive planning and creative storytelling angles.
- Serve as the primary media contact and secure coverage for key corporate development milestones.
- Draft and quality-assure press releases, Q&As, executive interviews/speaking, op-eds, and other PR assets.
- Advise senior leaders on communications strategy, providing counsel and coaching on broader framing and personal branding.
- Amplify thought leadership through earned and owned channels in partnership with digital marketing.
- Own measurement frameworks, KPIs, and dashboards.
- Ensure compelling narratives are consistently aligned with the corporate calendar and business objectives.
- Stay current on media activity, peer company dynamics, and stakeholder feedback to enable more informed communications.

- Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in a PR-related function (e.g., media relations, public relations, journalism, corporate communications), including meaningful experience in the biopharma, biotech, or healthcare industry and/or at a relevant agency supporting biopharma clients. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field required. - Media and multi-channel expertise:
Strong working relationships with editors and reporters at top publications; proven track record securing top-tier coverage and thought leadership through earned (non-paid) channels. - Writing and editorial excellence:
Executive-level writing and coaching experience with demonstrable results. - Storytelling capability:
Ability to distill complex scientific and technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for non-scientific audiences. - Cross-functional collaboration:
Proven experience working with digital marketing, BD, IR, and other internal stakeholders. - High level of professionalism, proactivity, and integrity.
