Director, Global Brand Lead (GBL)
The Global Product Strategy (SPD) team fuels Takeda's growth by commercializing a portfolio of therapies across complex markets. This role supports the commercialization strategy for zasocitinib (TAK‑279) in psoriasis and prepares for launch in psoriatic arthritis (PsA).
Responsibilities- Support development of the global commercialization strategy for TAK‑279 in psoriasis.
- Develop global positioning, brand identity, and creative campaign in collaboration with the US team.
- Build core promotional materials to enable LOCs to successfully launch TAK‑279 into the psoriatic arthritis market.
- Lead key differentiation initiatives to enhance the value proposition for TAK‑279 in psoriasis.
- Translate the zasocitinib PsA global brand strategy into execution:
- Refine brand strategy and messaging.
- Partner with Insights & Analytics for key customer and market insights.
- Evolve brand identity and creative campaign as the product moves to PsA.
- Lead evolution of the global brand plan with regional/LOC stakeholders.
- Build launch promotional materials to enable LOCs for a PsA launch:
- Own end‑to‑end development of core global marketing assets.
- Lead agency management and execution.
- Apply customer insights and regional feedback for differentiated, market‑ready materials.
- Drive KOL engagement and insights integration:
- Lead development and execution of the global KOL engagement plan.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Medical and Clinical Science teams.
- Translate insights into brand strategy, messaging, and materials.
- Develop congress assets and speaker materials for LOC readiness.
- Drive global launch readiness:
- Partner with Launch Excellence to lead readiness reviews with functions, regions, and LOCs.
- Support Global Launch Summit(s) to enable LOC preparedness.
- Partner with regions/LOCs to ensure successful launch and share best practices.
- Own timely delivery of launch tools, materials, and guidance for competitive readiness.
- University degree in marketing, business, or life sciences; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years pharma experience with a strong track record in pre‑launch / launch execution and global marketing roles.
- Experience in rheumatology, dermatology, immunology, or related specialty areas strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into end‑to‑end execution, including agency management, budget & timeline ownership, and delivery of launch‑critical assets.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across senior, cross‑functional, and global stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and drive outcomes with minimal direction in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
U.S. Base Salary Range: $ – $.
Eligible for short‑term and long‑term incentives.
