Chiesi Global Rare Diseases is a Chiesi Group’s business unit established in February 2020 and focused on research, development and commercialization of treatments and patient support services for rare and ultra-rare disorders, many of whom have limited or no treatments available.
This unit is based in Boston, Massachusetts, with a strong synergy with the headquarters in Parma.
Rare unit has a focus on research and product development for lysosomal storage diseases, rare hematology, ophthalmology disorders and rare immunodeficiencies. The unit is also a dedicated partner with global leaders in scientific research, patient advocacy and care. Discover more here.
Who we are looking forThis is what you will doReporting to the Head of Access Marketing, Strategy, & US HEOR for the Americas, this role will lead the development and implementation of Access strategy and develop tactical initiatives for the assigned Chiesi Rare Disease portfolio. The Lead will collaborate closely with the brand marketing teams and other cross functional partners, all in support of ensuring life-changing treatments remain accessible to the patients who need them.
In the near term, this role will support and contribute to the success of a product portfolio in Chiesi Rare Disease – in the longer term, this role offers the opportunity to grow and develop as part of a highly experienced market access team for an exciting, growing company.
The Lead will contribute to company success by supporting the development of market access strategy, tactics, and marketing materials for the assigned portfolio. This role will also be critical in supporting Market Access team operations, including budgets, forecasts, payer/coverage data analysis, and project management.
- Support the development of market access strategy, tactics and marketing materials as the market access lead for assigned brands.
- Collaborate with partners from across the business, including Brand Marketing, Patient Services, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Finance, Sales, Data/Analytics, and Global Market Access
- Collaborate and support the development of the strategy for US HEOR/RWE across assigned disease areas within Chiesi Rare Disease Portfolio
- Monitor spend and manage assigned payer marketing budget for brands, being a good steward of company resources
- Be a resource on all things US Market Access – strategies, tactics, situation assessments, etc. – for our cross functional partners
- Lead engagement with the creative agency partner(s) for assigned portfolio, and facilitate Promotional Review Board (PRB) review of marketing materials
- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure brand access messages and environment is pulled through to all customers
