Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

As a Senior Copywriter, you’ll lead the concepting, writing and execution of groundbreaking ideas. Working alongside a partner, you’ll solve problems with smart copy solutions and creative storytelling.

In this role, you are expected to:

  • Understand the difference between a concept and an execution, while executing both flawlessly.
  • Craft headlines, not just write them.
  • Be a storyteller, bringing ideas to life in unique ways.
  • Write scripts that people can’t stop thinking about.
  • Know how to write for different media, in different voices, for different clients.
  • Present to clients with passion, enthusiasm and thoughtfulness.

  • Know how to read a brief and use insights to guide work.
  • Partner with Art Directors to ensure the copy direction and visual presentation work together to make the concept powerful and compelling.
  • Know how to take feedback and build on it.
Qualifications

Other things you’ll need:

  • An inability to settle on “good enough.”
  • Curiosity for discovering what’s next and trying something new.
  • Being proactive with ideas for clients, even without a brief or assignment
  • Energy, open-mindedness, and a sense of humor.
  • A portfolio that shows off great ideas, no matter where they live.
  • Software skills:
The Adobe suite and AI programs.
  • At least four years or writing at a competitive, creative agency.
  • Awards are nice, but original ideas and real creative problem-solving are even better.
