Job Description
Global Brand Lead, IgAN (Director level), reporting to the Global Commercial Lead, IgAN, is responsible for leading the global commercialization strategy and launch readiness for an asset in IgA Nephropathy (IgAN) in close partnership with regions and key launch countries. This role drives the development and stewardship of the global brand positioning, core campaign, and branded materials to ensure consistent and differentiated execution across markets, while translating market, customer, and competitive insights into impactful commercial initiatives that strengthen the asset's value proposition.
As an integrated cross-functional commercial leader operating within a matrix organization, the Global Brand Lead ensures regional and country perspectives are incorporated into global planning, strategies, and promotional materials.
Drive global commercial initiatives as part of the pre-commercialization planning and early market building efforts
- Serve as brand champion
- Establish global brand identity, campaign and key messages with view for other indications
- Define and implement growth driving marketing initiatives
- Work with the Insights and Analytics team to identify key insights that support the overall brand positioning
- Develop the overarching brand identify and creative campaign to differentiate the brand in an increasingly competitive IgAN landscape
- Develop and test the target product claims and key messages
- Build the brand book to provide guidance to the Regions and LOCs to ensure consistency in the roll out of the campaign and associated materials
- Develop the core visual aid to communicate the key messages, data and brand story
- Partner closely with the Regions and LOCs to seek their input into the development of all key materials
- Define and implement differentiated branded marketing initiatives aligned to the cross functional strategic imperatives
- Partner with regions/LOCs to ensure successful launch, capture and share best practices, and adapt and shape global launch strategy based on learnings in first launch markets
- Manage timely delivery of expected initiatives and tools to facilitate region/LOC launch preparedness and competitive readiness
- Ensure the regional/country voice and feedback is consistently captured and well-integrated in the commercial initiatives
- Support all relevant sub-teams and input into their deliverables as needed
- Monitor OPEX performance against plan and recommend resource-allocation adjustments aligned with launch priorities.
- Manage external partners and agency deliverables to support efficient, compliant, and high-quality execution.
- Contribute to launch roadmap planning, milestone tracking, and issue resolution to drive disciplined execution.
Qualifications:
- University degree in marketing, business, life sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience; therapeutic-area or rare-disease experience preferred.
- Strong in-line or global brand marketing experience required; U.S., regional, or global launch experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional, and global environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading pre-launch or launch planning for specialty-care or rare-disease products.
- Strong strategic marketing and brand-building capabilities, including positioning, campaign development, and customer engagement strategy.
- Experience partnering effectively with Medical Affairs, Market Access and Regulatory
- Domestic and international travel up to 25%
