Role DescriptionResponsible for the development and implementation of marketing programs for the Specialty Markets to support meeting identified revenue and market share objectives. This includes product launch planning, development of value propositions, and driving commercial strategies for markets such as Point of Care, Veterinary, Urology, and other subsegments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and execute strategic marketing plans for products and target markets to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
- Research the market landscape, competition, customer needs, and opportunities in each target market and assess new potential markets.
- Drive go‑to‑market and product launch planning, including defining product positioning, pricing, naming, promotional strategy, and messaging.
- Continuously refine product positioning and messaging based on market dynamics and customer insights.
- Develop marketing materials and support sales and clinical training.
- Analyze the competitive landscape, identifying strengths and weaknesses to inform strategy.
- Serve as the brand evangelist and key spokesperson for the assigned portfolio, communicating with key opinion leaders.
- Plan and execute comprehensive tactical marketing campaigns to reach the target audience.
- Support sales and business teams with internal and external promotion, including sales promos, digital campaigns, and social media strategy.
- Identify and lead strategies for key trade shows and events.
- Support the tradeshow team in planning and executing events focused on target markets and personas.
- Manage and track the budget for all marketing expenses.
- Collaborate with product management, regulatory, corporate accounts, and executive leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (required); 10 years of industry experience, preferably in medical imaging; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years’ healthcare product marketing experience, including market research and strategic marketing plan design.
- Experience with social media channels such as You Tube, Facebook, Linked In, X, and other web media outlets.
- Experience conducting market and product segmentation assessments for a global healthcare company.
- Knowledge of healthcare policies and competitive dynamics.
- Strong communication skills to launch new products and leverage media opportunities for brand and market share growth.
- Ability to communicate with engineers, technical support, clinicians, and healthcare professionals about product performance.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to conduct clinical and product training.
- Willingness to travel internationally, overnight, and on weekends.
- Valid driving license and satisfactory driving record; background and drug testing required.
- Experience managing budgets, expenses, and resources.
- Result‑oriented, team player, and self‑driven.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in a demanding, fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent technology skills, including proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome.
- Desirable familiarity with clinical and economic outcome data, reimbursement, and managed care policies.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift over 100 pounds.
- Push or pull weights over 100 pounds when setting up or dismantling trade shows, and maneuver company equipment into display positions.
