This Account Executive will join a dynamic healthcare team supporting cutting-edge pharmaceutical and biotech accounts. The work is an interesting blend of product, corporate, and advocacy communications, and will provide the opportunity to dive into earned and social media efforts. You will play a hands-on role in helping to execute thoughtful, high-impact campaigns and work closely with senior team members and integrated partners to keep projects on track, contribute to content development, and help bring client initiatives to life with precision and enthusiasm.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Plan and execute client programs under the guidance and direction of an Account Supervisor or higher-level supervisor
- Develop and edit written materials including press releases, fact sheets and general client correspondence
- Lead media relations efforts including media list development, creative pitch ideation, outreach and relationship building
- Assess media trends and identify/evaluate opportunities that amplify to client priorities
- Manage aspects of event execution, including media relations efforts, vendor coordination and staffing
- Generate ideas for programs that map to client objectives and conduct relevant research
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or a related field.
- 1-2+ years of professional experience in public relations, communications, or marketing; agency experience and exposure to large, integrated programs preferred.
- Health communications experience preferred; familiarity with pharmaceutical, biotech, or health communications is a plus.
- Familiarity with Veeva and preparing documents for MLR reviews is a strong advantage.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling disease state awareness materials, social media copy, media materials and other client assets.
- Understand digital and social media strategies and their role in communications campaigns.
- Help drive projects forward and support day-to-day team operations, including meeting preparation, client follow-ups and other project management coordination activities.
- Ability to manage projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- A team-oriented, proactive mindset, with a willingness to contribute beyond defined responsibilities.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $67,725. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
