Smartcat is building the future of work, where human expertise meets digital teammates to drive 10x to 1000x productivity gains for the world’s leading enterprises. We’re on the frontier of an entirely new category:
Agentic AI. We enable enterprises to build high-performing hybrid work forces made up of both humans and AI agents. These AI agents aren’t generic copilots. They’re fully trained digital teammates that learn from your best people, your content, and your business strategy—ready to get to work from day one. Our platform combines generative AI, human-in-the-loop workflows, and a living Enterprise Skill Graph that continuously learns and improves.
Whether you're launching a product globally, onboarding new hires, translating learning content, or aligning legal teams across regions, Smartcat turns knowledge into action and action into scale. Over 1,000 companies, including 20% of the Fortune 500, rely on Smartcat to bring their business to the world—instantly, accurately, and in every language. As a Series C company with consistently high year-over-year growth, we’re scaling fast and investing in people who want to shape the future of work with us.
Join us in unlocking global potential, one human and agent team at a time.
The Role
As a Product Marketing Manager at Smartcat, you'll be a foundational member of a lean, high-leverage Product Marketing function at a pivotal moment:
Smartcat is repositioning from a best-in-class localization and translation management platform to an enterprise agentic AI platform, and product marketing sits at the center of getting that story right, both internally and externally. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to develop a deep understanding of our customers, their use cases, and how Smartcat's AI agents and workflows drive outcomes for them.
You'll translate customer insights into sharp messaging, compelling launches, and content that helps the whole company tell one consistent, evidence-based story. You will be evaluated as much on your fluency working with AI tools day-to-day as on the marketing craft itself; this is an AI-native company and an AI-native role.
- Partner closely with Smartcat's product teams to inform what we build, who we build it for, and how we position it, all grounded in evidence-based market, customer, competitive, and buyer research.
- Own and evolve Smartcat's go-to-market narrative and messaging as the company shifts from a translation-first identity to an enterprise agentic AI platform, including our "market adaptation gap" and AI-native positioning frameworks.
- Conduct market and competitive research (e.g., vs. Phrase, Lokalise, Smartling, Absorb, and other AI/localization players), gather sales and CS feedback, and talk directly to customers to build a deep understanding of our core buyer personas.
- Create sales enablement materials, demos, battle cards, and objection-handling content; iterate continuously based on rep and customer conversations and feedback.
- Develop repeatable processes to capture real customer use cases and success stories, then package and promote them (case studies, proof points, ROI narratives) to drive adoption and pipeline.
- Own product launches end-to-end, leading cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Sales and Marketing, coordinating multi-channel rollout, and measuring outcomes to inform the next launch.
- Work closely with Content Marketing, Demand Generation, and Customer Marketing to reach target audiences (life sciences, manufacturing, consumer goods, and other enterprise ICPs), generate pipeline, and drive product adoption.
- Use AI tools natively in your own workflow, including research synthesis, content drafting, competitive tracking, launch planning, as the default way of working, not an add-on.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, or in a closely adjacent role (marketing, sales, customer success, consulting, or product management)…
