About the role
Global Brand Lead, IgAN (Director level), responsible for leading global commercialization strategy and launch readiness for an IgA Nephropathy (IgAN) asset. Drives global brand positioning, core campaign, and branded materials across markets, translating market/customer/competitive insights into commercial initiatives and ensuring regional/country perspectives are incorporated in a matrix organization.
How you will contribute- Drive global commercial initiatives for pre-commercialization and early market building (serve as brand champion; establish global brand identity, campaign, and key messages; define and implement growth-driving marketing initiatives).
- Develop global positioning, brand identity, and creative campaign with key markets (partner with Insights & Analytics; develop overarching brand identity and creative campaign to differentiate in a competitive IgAN landscape).
- Build core promotional materials to enable successful launch (develop/test target product claims and key messages; build brand book; develop core visual aids; partner with regions/LOCs for input).
- Lead differentiation initiatives to enhance the value proposition (implement differentiated branded marketing initiatives; partner with regions/LOCs for successful launch, capture/share best practices, and adapt global strategy; manage timely delivery of initiatives/tools).
- Partner with cross-functional teams/regions (ensure regional/country feedback is integrated; support sub-teams’ deliverables).
- Support governance/OPEX management and manage external partners (monitor OPEX; manage partners/agency deliverables; contribute to launch roadmap planning, milestone tracking, and issue resolution).
- University degree in marketing, business, life sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience; therapeutic-area or rare-disease experience preferred.
- Strong in-line or global brand marketing required; U.S./regional/global launch experience preferred.
- Excellent written/verbal communication, influencing, and stakeholder management.
- Experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional, global environment.
- Experience leading pre-launch/launch planning for specialty-care or rare-disease products.
- Strong strategic marketing/brand-building skills (positioning, campaign development, customer engagement).
- Experience partnering with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Regulatory.
- Domestic and international travel up to 25%
