Overview
The Digital Marketing Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of Suffolk's digital presence across external and internal channels, including social media, websites, email and digital signage. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, Creative, Marketing Strategy, Internal Communications and IT, this role coordinates content, approvals, publishing, reporting and vendor workflows to ensure digital programs are delivered accurately, consistently and on schedule. The Coordinator brings a strong understanding of current digital marketing channels and trends to support integrated campaigns, monitor performance, maintain quality standards and identify opportunities for ongoing optimization.
This role will support digital marketing efforts across Suffolk’s national regions, business sectors, and vertical business units. The scope of responsibility day-to-day execution of external- and internal-facing digital marketing programs including:
- Social media (organic and paid)
- Company websites and microsites
- Digital signage
- Campaign coordination and support
- Agency management
- Reporting and analytics

ResponsibilitiesDraft, edit, schedule and publish organic social media content across Suffolk’s corporate channels
- Maintain the social media content calendar, coordinating deadlines, creative assets and approvals with internal and external stakeholders
- Build relationships with regional teams, account leads, and internal subject matter experts to proactively source project updates, stories and other content opportunities for Suffolk’s digital channels
- Monitor social media comments, mentions and messages; respond to routine engagement
- Support regional and executive leadership in strengthening their social media presence through scalable programs, resources and content guidance aligned with their individual voices and Suffolk’s priorities
- Manage Suffolk’s employee social advocacy platform, including weekly content updates
- Support paid social and search campaigns by coordinating creative assets, copy, audiences, approvals and agency deliverables
- Perform routine content updates and maintenance across
- Serve as day-to-day liaison with the web development vendor, coordinating maintenance requests, testing, timelines and approvals
- Support search engine optimization and answer engine optimization efforts by coordinating reporting, reviewing recommendations and implementing approved website content updates
- Compile and analyze recurring performance reports across social media, websites, email and paid media, including website analytics reporting using Google Analytics 4
- Build, test and deploy email campaigns and newsletters, ensuring content, links, formatting, audiences and tracking are accurate
- Maintain and organize a central repository of approved digital assets for social media, websites, email and paid campaigns
- Coordinate digital signage content updates in partnership with Creative, IT and Internal Communications
- Support integrated digital marketing campaigns across social media, websites, email and paid media
- 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, communications or a related field, including internships or relevant agency experience
- Working knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, websites, email marketing, paid media and analytics
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and content-development skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels
