To date, our programming has reached hundreds of thousands of children in early learning settings nationwide.

Position Overview

The Communications and Content Coordinator supports Jumpstart Kids' marketing and communications work by building and executing the recurring production that keeps our social media, email, and website channels running on schedule. This role brings Jumpstart Kids’ established voice and visual identity to life across channels, working from existing templates, calendars, and direction set by the Director of Marketing, Communications, and Brand.

This is a production-focused role, designing and editing graphics and short-form video, posting content, building and sending emails, and publishing website updates with accuracy, consistency, and reliable turnaround. Success in this role looks like consistent, on-time execution, with content and emails going out accurately and on schedule, campaigns free of broken links or formatting errors, and quick turnaround on feedback and revisions.

  • Source or select photography, and/or create simple graphics and short form video existing templates
  • Schedule posts across platforms and monitor basic engagement
  • Route content for review and approval per established workflows

  • Build emails in Constant Contact; QA for links, formatting, and mobile rendering
  • Segment audiences per direction and schedule email sends
  • Maintain email templates and design consistency
Website & Digital Updates (~4 hours/week)
  • Implement monthly content updates (copy and content adjustments, minor SEO fixes)
  • Manage website change requests and content management system (CMS) publishing
  • Support rebrand and design adjustments to collateral templates
  • Pull performance metrics from Sprout, Constant Contact, GA4, and Shopify into a monthly snapshot

  • Basic short form video creation and editing experience
  • Basic copywriting ability; can adapt to a provided voice and messaging framework
