Luma Bio Partners is supporting a mid-sized global biopharmaceutical company that is making a significant investment in the continued expansion of its US Neuroscience business.
We are seeking a Director, Neuroscience Marketing to take a critical leadership role within the US commercial organisation.
This is a newly created position with responsibility for leading the US commercial strategy and launch of an established neuroscience product into the migraine market
.
The successful candidate will have end-to-end responsibility for launch strategy, commercial readiness and long-term brand performance, while leading a team of experienced marketers and working closely with senior commercial and cross-functional leadership.
This is an opportunity to help build a new migraine franchise from an early stage and play a significant role in shaping its entry into a highly competitive US market.
Key Responsibilities Launch Strategy & Commercial Readiness- Lead the development and execution of the overall US migraine launch strategy.
- Own launch readiness planning across positioning, segmentation, messaging, market development, campaign development and commercial execution.
- Develop the annual brand strategy and translate strategic priorities into executable commercial plans.
- Establish launch KPIs and measurement frameworks to assess pre-launch readiness and post-launch performance.
- Lead the development of integrated HCP and patient marketing strategies.
- Provide strategic direction across personal and non-personal promotion, including DTC, digital, media and field-facing initiatives.
- Oversee positioning, messaging, creative development, market research and campaign testing.
- Ensure consistent brand storytelling across HCP and patient audiences.
- Lead across a complex matrix organisation, partnering closely with:

- Regulatory

- Global Marketing
- Translate market and customer insights into commercial recommendations and strategic pivots.
- Ensure alignment across US and Global stakeholders throughout launch planning and execution.
- Lead and develop a team of experienced marketers.
- Build strong relationships across the broader Neuroscience organisation.
- Influence senior stakeholders and establish alignment around launch priorities.
- Own and manage a significant migraine launch marketing budget.
- Lead creative, media and other external agency partners.
- Establish effective agency operating models and ensure investment is aligned with strategic priorities.
- Monitor performance and optimise investment based on commercial impact.
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
- Partner with Medical Affairs and other stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of the migraine treatment landscape.
- Champion the needs and experiences of patients living with migraine throughout commercial planning.
We are interested in speaking with senior pharmaceutical marketing leaders who bring direct migraine and/or neurotoxin experience
.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Significant pharmaceutical or biotechnology commercial experience, including at least 5 years within marketing.
- Successful US pharmaceutical launch planning and execution experience.
- Experience leading HCP and patient/consumer marketing strategy.
- Strong understanding of DTC marketing, including campaign development, execution, measurement and optimisation.
- Demonstrated brand strategy and commercial planning experience.
- Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional teams within a matrix organisation.
