Reports To CEO Type Full-Time
We're a fast-growing data technology and Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) company building information products for businesses and consumers. Our reports and data solutions are compiled from government, public, commercial, and private sources across automotive, real estate and property, courthouse and legal data, public records, cybersecurity, and business intelligence. Most of our products are subscription-based, and expanding our B2B and DaaS offerings is our top growth priority.
The RoleYou'll own marketing performance across our full portfolio of brands, reporting directly to the CEO. You'll lead three in-house Marketing Managers (each responsible for specific brands), an offshore Social Media Manager, and an offshore SEO and content writing team, and you'll run the team's daily stand-up.
This is a hands-on role. You'll set strategy and manage people, and you'll also build campaigns, dig through funnels, review landing pages, and pull the numbers yourself. Because our brands serve very different markets, you'll need to run several different playbooks at once rather than applying one across the portfolio. Priorities shift as new data and opportunities emerge, so you'll need to hold multiple brands, launches, and tests in your head without losing the thread.
WhatYou'll Own
Paid acquisition. Google Ads and Microsoft/Bing Ads are the core of our acquisition engine. You'll personally build and launch campaigns when we're testing a new product, market, keyword category, or offer - keyword and competitor research, ad copy, landing page strategy, conversion tracking, bid and budget optimization, and CAC/ROAS analysis. Paid social across Meta, Tik Tok, Linked In, and Reddit sits here too, alongside organic social strategy with our Social Media Manager.
B2B go-to-market. We've grown primarily in B2C and are now pushing hard into B2B and DaaS. You'll build the positioning, demand generation, lead generation, sales funnels, content, Linked In marketing, and email outreach that make that work.
Retention and subscription growth. Acquiring a customer is only the first half. You'll work with Marketing Managers, Product, UX/UI, and Analytics on trial-to-paid conversion, churn, cancellation behavior, retention by acquisition channel, LTV, cohort performance, and upsell - then translate what you find into changes to onboarding, pricing, offers, lifecycle marketing, and the product itself.
Conversion and UX. Landing pages, registration and checkout flows, onboarding, product dashboards, report presentation, subscription management, cancellation flows, and mobile experience. The question we care about isn't only how much traffic you can send - it's what happens after the customer arrives.
Email and lifecycle marketing. We do very little of it today despite sizable customer and prospect databases. You'll build this from the ground up: onboarding, nurture, trial conversion, retention, churn prevention, win-back, cross-sell between brands, and B2B lead nurturing.
New product launches. We test new products and concepts regularly. You'll own market and competitor research, positioning, segmentation, pricing and offer development, go-to-market, the first campaign builds, and the read on whether to scale.
Analytics. You'll be in the numbers daily - revenue, spend, profitability, CAC, ROAS, trial and paid conversion rates, churn, LTV, funnel performance, and results by channel and by brand. Our internal dashboards make this data readily available, and we expect it to drive decisions rather than…
