The Marketing Manager develops and executes marketing initiatives while collaborating closely with attorneys, Business Development teams, and Marketing and Communications colleagues across the firm.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Brand and Integrated Marketing, this role serves as a marketing partner to practices and industries, managing integrated, multichannel marketing initiatives that elevate the firm’s brand, strengthen market visibility, execute marketing initiatives that support practice and industry go-to-market objectives, and drive business outcomes. The Marketing Manager manages the development, execution, promotion, and measurement of thought leadership content, events, and other integrated marketing initiatives designed to engage priority audiences and support firm growth.
Responsibilities:Integrated Marketing Planning & Execution
- Manage and execute integrated marketing initiatives aligned with firm priorities and practice and industry goals, in collaboration with Business Development teams and attorneys.
- Develop structured marketing plans, timelines, and workflows to ensure seamless execution across channels.
- Develop and manage thought leadership content plans that support practice objectives, strengthen market visibility, and enhance the client and prospect experience.
- Manage marketing planning and execution — including audience engagement plans, messaging, and promotional campaigns — for webinars, client programs, large-scale receptions, and other industry events.
- Guide content through its full life cycle, including planning, development, review, publication, promotion, measurement, and repurposing across channels.
- Collaborate with and guide Creative and Editorial teams to produce high‑quality, client‑centered thought leadership, digital assets, and collateral.
- Collaborate with the firm’s social media lead to execute practice- and event‑specific social media approaches and advise attorneys on visibility opportunities aligned with best practices and evolving audience behavior.
- Evaluate marketing initiative performance and prepare reports, insights, and recommendations to inform future initiatives.
- Resolve challenges proactively by identifying bottlenecks and escalating when needed.
- Develop channel‑specific content and messaging that effectively adapts thought leadership, event content, and firm initiatives across web, email, social media, video, paid search, and other digital marketing channels, while focusing on SEO/AEO/GEO.
- Apply client‑centered design and digital best practices to enhance marketing touchpoints across email, web, social media, thought leadership, and event assets.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Creative, Editorial, and MBD Technology teams to ensure user‑informed design choices and cohesive audience experiences, and to help establish and follow best practices.
- Manage the development of practice and industry pages, event landing pages, microsites, digital assets, email campaigns, and promotional materials that support thought leadership content, events, marketing campaigns, and brand objectives.
- Evaluate and refine digital journeys to improve audience engagement and conversion, as well as overall user experience.
- Leverage analytics and audience insights to assess performance and inform future thought leadership content, event, and other marketing strategies.
- Align objectives, priorities, and messaging with Business Development teams and attorney stakeholders.
- Facilitate collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent brand expression, strategic alignment, and effective execution across channels.
