Marketing Events Specialist - Americas

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Marketing Events Specialist to help drive Onshape's events strategy across the Americas. This role will own the planning and execution of a diverse portfolio of trade shows, conferences, technology events, executive programs, and other in-person experiences. The ideal candidate combines strong event execution and project management skills with a data-driven mindset, working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Technical Services, and Product to deliver experiences that engage target audiences, generate demand, and drive measurable business impact.

Responsibilities Research, develop, and execute an engaging Americas events calendar aligned to marketing and business priorities

Own end-to-end planning and execution of Onshape's participation in trade shows, conferences, technology events, executive programs, and other in-person experiences across the Americas Identify new event opportunities, providing recommendations based on audience fit, business objectives, cost, and expected impact

Manage all aspects of event execution, including registration, sponsor ships, booth requirements, shipping, vendors, staffing, speaking opportunities, promotion, and post-event follow-up Coordinate event communications and deliverables across internal teams and external partners, ensuring stakeholders have visibility into upcoming programs, deadlines, and responsibilities

Partner with Sales on event objectives, target account engagement, staffing, pre-event activation, and post-event lead follow-up Manage event budgets and track spend to ensure programs are delivered within budget

Track, analyze, and report on event performance, including attendance, engagement, leads, opportunities, pipeline contribution, ARR, and ROI; identify insights to inform future event investment

Coordinate event programming and speaker logistics, including session submissions, speaker communications, deadlines, presentations, and onsite requirements

What We're Looking For3+ years of experience in B2B event marketing, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment

Experience planning and executing industry trade shows, conferences, meetups, and other in-person events

Experience with CRM, marketing automation, event management, and lead retrieval platforms;
Salesforce experience preferred

Strong project management, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Experience managing event budgets and measuring event performance

Willingness to travel regularly throughout the AmericasPTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $70,000-$85,000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus.
