Codman Square Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center serving a diverse community in Dorchester, MA, and surrounding neighborhoods. CSHC offers a full continuum of services such as primary care, urgent care, behavioral health, care management, nutrition, family planning, optometry, dentistry, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, and medical specialties including HIV care, substance use treatment, Hepatitis C, OB‑GYN, Nephrology, and Cardiology alongside an on‑site STI clinic.
CSHC is a teaching institution with academic affiliations at Boston University School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center, and a member of the Boston Accountable Care Organization. Position Summary:The Manager of Strategic Marketing Communications is a strategy-driven marketing and communications professional responsible for helping shape how Codman Square Health Center is understood, experienced, and engaged with by patients, community members, staff, partners, funders, and other stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of Brand Communications, this position serves as a key marketing strategist and hands‑on communications leader, translating organizational priorities into integrated marketing strategies, campaigns, content, and outreach that strengthen Codman's brand, grow awareness and patient engagement, advance health equity, and support organizational goals.
In cooperation with and under the leadership of the Director of Brand Communications, the Manager will co‑develop and build Codman's annual and campaign‑specific marketing and communications strategies; develop audience‑centered plans; lead execution across channels; and evaluate results to continuously improve performance. The role requires both strategic thinking and strong executional skills, with the ability to move from identifying an opportunity to developing the strategy, building the campaign, coordinating stakeholders, producing or overseeing content, launching communications, and measuring impact.
Primary Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Marketing Planning & Campaign Development- Co‑develop and build, under the leadership of the Director of Brand Communications, Codman's annual marketing and communications strategy and integrated marketing priorities.
- Translate organizational, service‑line, community engagement, advancement, patient growth, and health equity priorities into clear marketing objectives, audiences, positioning, key messages, channel strategies, and measurable outcomes.
- Develop integrated marketing campaigns for priority services, programs, initiatives, events, and organizational priorities across digital, social, email, print, radio, community, and other appropriate channels.
