Job Description Boston Islamic Seminary (BIS) is hiring a part-time Marketing and Communications Specialist to lead the Seminary's integrated marketing and communications efforts. This hybrid role is based in Boston, MA and requires 20–25 hours per week.### Core Responsibilities Marketing and Communications Strategy — Develop integrated marketing strategy and annual content calendar aligned with institutional goals. Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all communications channels.

Digital Content and Social Media — Lead BIS's digital content strategy across social media platforms, email newsletters, the website, blogs, and paid advertising. Manage audience engagement and run paid advertising campaigns to grow the Seminary's community reach.

Fundraising and Events — Partner with the development team on digital fundraising and enrollment campaigns. Support event marketing through coordinated content and promotional materials.

Website and Analytics — Manage website optimization, search engine optimization (SEO), and digital visibility. Monitor performance metrics, establish KPIs, and produce continuous improvement recommendations.###

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field (preferred); at least 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or nonprofit communications; excellent copywriting, editing, storytelling, and communication skills; practical social media management experience; prior experience in digital or nonprofit fundraising communications strongly preferred.### What the Seminary Offers Part-time, hybrid arrangement with schedule flexibility and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Islamic education and community-building.
