About this opportunity: POAH has an internship opportunity available to assist the Sr. Director of Communications with our media relations and social media programs that include the following projects:
  • Assist with growing our audiences and engagement levels on POAH's social media platforms by identifying stakeholders, journalists, peers and others with an interest in affordable housing/community development and connecting with them
  • Create short video clips from POAH's video library for posting on social media that reinforce POAH's brand as a provider of high quality housing
  • Assist the department with tagging contacts in Constant Contact and organizing out digital photo library
Requirements:

Candidates should possess knowledge or experience in some or all of the following areas:
  • Strong working knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook and Linked In and Bluesky;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and light video editing (Adobe products helpful)
  • Knowledge or interest in our industry areas helpful: affordable housing, community development, human services, social services
