Position: Elder Service Coordinator (Part-Time)

Compensation

$300/week (Stipend)

Schedule

2–3 days per week (approximately 3–4 hours per day)

About FISCO

Friends of Indian Senior Citizens Organization (FISCO) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of Indian and South Asian older adults through culturally meaningful programs, social engagement, wellness activities, and supportive services.

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and organized

Elder Services Coordinator to support our senior programs across multiple locations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with older adults and wants to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to FISCO program locations (including Shrewsbury, Newton, Foxborough, and other sites as needed) to support weekly senior programs.
  • Assist with program setup, participant check-in, and on-site coordination.
  • Welcome and provide friendly assistance to seniors throughout program activities.
  • Perform light administrative duties, including phone calls, data entry, maintaining attendance records, and organizing program materials.
  • Coordinate with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth program operations.
  • Assist with other program-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle and work authorization in the U.S.
  • Willingness to travel between multiple program locations each week.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a respectful & compassionate approach to older adults.
  • Basic computer proficiency (email, MS Office/Google Workspace, spreadsheets, forms).
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
