ASFL Program Manager

Role Description The ASFL Program Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in either Hanover or Westford, MA, responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing A Shot For Life programs and events. This role includes coordinating logistics, managing timelines and budgets, and serving as a primary point of contact for community partners, participants, and volunteers. The Program Manager will design and refine program structures, track performance metrics, and ensure initiatives align with the organization’s mission of community engagement, hope, servant leadership, and support for health and research.

Daily responsibilities also include supervising program staff or volunteers, maintaining high-quality participant experiences, preparing reports and presentations for leadership, and collaborating on outreach and marketing efforts. The role requires frequent in-person collaboration, attendance at events, and responsiveness to program needs as they arise.

• Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with community partners, participants, volunteers, and internal teams.
• Candidates should possess skills in stakeholder engagement, relationship building, and community outreach to support program participation and impact.
• Candidates should possess problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills to address operational challenges and improve program delivery.
• Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills, including documentation, reporting, and basic proficiency with office software tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as nonprofit management, public health, education, communications, or business) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in nonprofit, community program management, or event coordination is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated commitment to servant leadership, community service, and advancing health and research initiatives.
• Ability to work on-site in Boston, MA, including some evenings and weekends as program activities require.
