Assistant Director of Family Engagement to $90K - Lead Special Events and Strengthen Family Connections!
Our client, a respected academic institution, is seeking an Assistant Director of Family Engagement to strengthen relationships between families, volunteers, and the school community. In this role, you will coordinate events and programs, become a key liaison for communication and volunteer involvement, and lead overall engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of experience in nonprofit, education, or community focused environments, along with strong event planning skills.

Required - Responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for family constituents; planning and executing a variety of family-focused events and community programs; recruiting, coordinating, and supporting a large network of volunteers; partnering with internal stakeholders to develop communications and engagement initiatives; tracking event budgets, participation, and program effectiveness; fostering an inclusive and welcoming community experience; and supporting broader fundraising and community-building efforts.
- The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of experience in a nonprofit, school, education, or community engagement setting; demonstrated success managing volunteers and coordinating events; exceptional written and verbal communication skills; strong diplomacy and relationship-building abilities; outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor database systems; and a thoughtful, service-oriented approach when working with diverse stakeholders.
