Position Summary/
Department Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team within our Boston PACU.
Key Responsibilities:- Recovers pediatric patients from surgery/procedure.
- Prepares pediatric patients for surgery on the day of surgery/procedure.
- Working collaboratively in a family-centered environment.
- Performs developmental/age-appropriate nursing assessments and interventions.
- Collaborate with peers and interdisciplinary colleagues.
- Working primarily 10-hour shifts, rotating day start times.
- Education:
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing. - Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of inpatient pediatric experience. PACU/Critical Care experience preferred. Post-surgical care experience preferred. - Licensure/
Certifications:
Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse RN
