Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Burn/Surgical ICU position requiring an active MA RN license and prior ICU and travel nursing experience.

Job Details

• Position is in the Burn/Surgical ICU, caring for adult complex surgical and critically ill medical patients,

• Thermal burn patients make up less than 10% of the caseload,

• Work within a closed ICU model with a dedicated multidisciplinary team,

• 36-hour work week with day and night rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays,

• Care provided using the Epic EMR system,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license is required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted,

• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification is required,

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience,

• At least 1 year of travel experience is required,

• Primary license verification through NURSYS and Board of Nursing is required,

• Flu vaccination is mandatory with no religious or medical exemptions,

Additional Information

• Work with a team of APPs, surgical teams, consultants, and 24/7 in-house attending ICU physicians,

• All patients are managed by a coordinated multidisciplinary team,

• Local candidates must have a permanent residence at least 60 miles from the hospital,

• No pending MA licenses accepted for consideration,

• Parking is not validated and public transportation or paid public parking is available,
