The SICU is an 8‑bed unit caring for a complex surgical population including transplant, hepatobiliary, and general surgery patients. This is a high‑acuity environment requiring strong critical care skills and trauma experience.

Patient ratios: 1:1 – 1:3.

• Provide comprehensive, high‑acuity nursing care to critically ill surgical patients.
• Monitor and manage ventilators, drips, invasive lines, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with surgical, trauma, and critical care teams.
• Perform thorough assessments and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition.
• Accurately document patient care in EPIC.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and evidence‑based practice standards.

• Current RN license in MA or a valid compact license.
• 2–3 years of related critical care experience.
• Must have SICU experience.
• Must have Trauma / Level 1 Trauma experience.
• BLS (AHA) required.
• ACLS (AHA) required.
• EPIC experience required.
