Local Contract Nurse RN - Acute Care

Position Overview

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Nurse RN for an Acute Care assignment at a highly respected hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

• Manage care of adult and/or pediatric patients with critical, life‑threatening conditions requiring rapid assessment and high‑intensity interventions.
• Provide emotional support, education, and clear communication to patients and families during emergency situations.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, recognizing when early intervention is needed.
• Prepare patients for surgery, imaging, and diagnostic procedures.
• Perform essential emergency procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, blood draws, and airway support (intubation assistance).
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.

• 4+ years RN experience (required).
• 1+ year travel experience (required).
• Level 1 hospital experience (required).
• RN License – Required.
• All license/certificate verification must be submitted.
• CPR/Basic Life Support (implied standard requirement).
