About the Job:
Shriners Children's Boston is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for its PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit). In this role, you will provide life-saving care to critically ill pediatric patients. This position requires a compassionate and experienced nurse to manage complex medical conditions, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for children in critical care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide intensive care to pediatric patients in critical condition.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage life-saving interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assess patients' conditions and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families during critical situations.
• Document patient progress, care interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital protocols.

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $58.80/hr (30% less than $84.00/hr)
Shift Duration: 12 hours
Estimated Pay: $58.80/hr
* 12 hours = $705.60 per shift

Experience Needed: PRN (As-needed basis, flexible shifts)

Documents Required:

• Active RN license in Massachusetts
• PALS, BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification
• Resume detailing PICU and pediatric experience
• Professional References (at least two)
• COVID Vaccination Card
