Assist RN with clinical tasks including blood glucose monitoring, completing EKGs, applying simple dressings, using aseptic technique, and responding to medical emergencies with Heartsaver CPR and AED skills;
Respond to the needs of patients and family members and take an active role in efficient operation of the unit;
Ensure adherence to the Patient and Family Centered Care Model;
Collaborate with the care team to provide quality patient care;
Support CNA/PCA duties as assigned by the RN
