Job Title: LPN - Long Term Care
Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 Hours Per Week | 8-hour Day/Evening Shifts
- 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Every other weekend and holiday required
Starting from $2,000/week
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. This role involves direct resident care, supervision of support staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and administer medications
- Supervise CNAs and support staff during assigned shifts
- Complete accurate charting, documentation, admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Monitor resident conditions, vital signs, and treatment plans
- Administer treatments such as catheter care, tube feedings, wound care, suctioning, and blood draws
- Collect lab specimens and perform routine testing
- Coordinate care with physicians, residents, and families
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, resident rights, and facility policies
- Support overall patient care and daily operations
Licensure & Certifications
- Active, unrestricted Massachusetts LPN License
- BLS/CPR/AED Certification - Required
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
- Excellent documentation and organizational abilities
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Long-term care facility setting
