Surgery - Neurosurgery Physician Assistant

We're seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) with a background in Neurosurgery to join a dynamic inpatient team in Boston, Massachusetts .

  3 x 13-hour day shifts per week
• Hours:
  
  6:00 AM 7:00 PM
• No Call
• No Nights
• No Holidays
• Scheduled Coverage Only

• Inpatient Neurosurgery
• Adult & Geriatric Patient Population
• EMR: Epic

• Round with residents to develop patient care plans
• Review and enter patient orders
• Manage patient evaluations and follow-up care
• Coordinate discharges and ongoing treatment plans
• Provide direct patient care in an inpatient neurosurgical setting
• Preferred:
  Experience removing Hemovac and JP drains

This is a patient-care-focused role. APPs do not participate in the OR, as resident teams provide surgical assistance.

• Board Certified Physician Assistant with Neurosurgery experience
• Active Massachusetts license required
• Minimum 1 year of Neurosurgery experience
• Epic charting experience required

• Approximately 90 days

• Travel expenses are billable
