- Provide direct patient care in an inpatient Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery practice setting
- Conduct history and physicals (H&Ps) and perform ongoing assessments
- Order medications and write prescriptions as appropriate to patient care needs
- Interpret labs and diagnostic tests and use results to guide clinical decisions
- Manage therapeutic interventions and develop an appropriate plan of care
- Perform bedside procedures as appropriate and support continuity of care throughout hospitalization
Required
- Nurse Practitioner with MA state license
- Board certification required
- 1–2 years of experience (inpatient plastic/reconstructive surgery experience preferred/required per posting)
- Experience working in a hospital inpatient setting
- Familiarity with managing orders, lab interpretation, and inpatient plan-of-care workflows
This is a hospital-based inpatient Nurse Practitioner assignment focused on adult plastic and reconstructive surgery care. The role includes patient assessment and management (including H&Ps, orders, lab/test interpretation, medication management, and bedside procedures as appropriate) within a day-shift schedule using Epic.
