Plastic Surgery Nurse Practitioner (Inpatient) | Boston, MA

What You’ll Do
  • Provide direct patient care in an inpatient Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery practice setting
  • Conduct history and physicals (H&Ps) and perform ongoing assessments
  • Order medications and write prescriptions as appropriate to patient care needs
  • Interpret labs and diagnostic tests and use results to guide clinical decisions
  • Manage therapeutic interventions and develop an appropriate plan of care
  • Perform bedside procedures as appropriate and support continuity of care throughout hospitalization
What You Need
Required
  • Nurse Practitioner with MA state license
  • Board certification required
  • 1–2 years of experience (inpatient plastic/reconstructive surgery experience preferred/required per posting)
Preferred
  • Experience working in a hospital inpatient setting
  • Familiarity with managing orders, lab interpretation, and inpatient plan-of-care workflows
About the Assignment
This is a hospital-based inpatient Nurse Practitioner assignment focused on adult plastic and reconstructive surgery care. The role includes patient assessment and management (including H&Ps, orders, lab/test interpretation, medication management, and bedside procedures as appropriate) within a day-shift schedule using Epic.
