    Required (seasonal coverage)
Qualifications
  • Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
  • Minimum 2 years of postpartum nursing experience in an inpatient healthcare setting
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required
  • Experience with magnesium drips and telemetry highly preferred
  • Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months if previously employed (perm, per diem, or travel)
  • No local candidates considered for this Boston nursing job
  • Flu vaccine required during onboarding
Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive postpartum care to mothers and newborns in an inpatient hospital setting
  • Monitor and manage patients receiving magnesium drips and telemetry
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation and adhere to hospital protocols
  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced clinical environment
