Neurosurgery APP Opportunity
Seeking an experienced Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for an inpatient hospital-based role caring for adult patients. The position consists of three 13-hour day shifts per week (6:00 AM – 7:00 PM) with no nights or holidays
.
Responsibilities include rounding with neurosurgery residents, reviewing patient care plans, evaluating patients requiring follow-up, managing orders, coordinating discharges, and providing inpatient neurosurgical care. This is a patient-care-focused role with no operating room responsibilities, as residents assist in surgical cases. Experience removing surgical drains such as Hemovac and JP drains is preferred.
Requirements- Board Certified in Neurosurgery (or relevant APP certification with neurosurgery experience).
- Active Massachusetts license required.
- Minimum of 1 year of inpatient neurosurgery experience.
- Experience with adult patient populations.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred.
- Hospital setting.
- Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days.
- Travel stipends provided.
