Position Summary
A member of the Boston Medical Center Health System, is seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing outpatient dermatology program in Brighton, MA. This role is ideal for a dermatology APP who is comfortable practicing independently within a collaborative care model and is excited to help grow services in a modern, community-based setting. Position:
Physician Assistant.
- Provide comprehensive outpatient dermatologic care to adult patients.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic skin conditions.
- Perform dermatologic procedures within scope and demonstrated experience, including: skin biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, electrodessication, intralesional and cosmetic injections (if applicable).
- Develop and manage treatment plans and follow patients longitudinally.
- Educate patients on skin health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Document clinical encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with dermatologists, primary care providers, and clinical staff.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current or eligible Massachusetts licensure and national board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
- Minimum of 2 years of direct outpatient dermatology experience.
- Demonstrated competency in medical dermatology and common dermatologic procedures.
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
