RN Supportive Care Research-MGH

About This Role

The RN Supportive Care Research-MGH position is responsible for interpreting medical care plans, assessing patients' clinical needs, and providing individualized nursing care. This role is ideal for those with a passion for oncology and supportive care interventions.

• Pay: $41.72 - $105.65/Hourly
• Location: Boston, MA
• Facility: The General Hospital Corporation
• Schedule: Per Diem

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
• Lead small-group sessions focused on psychoeducation and coping strategies for cancer patients transitioning to surveillance.

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience:

• Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current RN License in Massachusetts required
