Medical​/Surgical Nurse, Nights Faulkner

Schedule

36 hours nights, every other weekend & holiday commitment.

The Registered Nurse is a professional nurse registered in Massachusetts who is responsible and accountable for planning and providing patient care for assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care as set forth in the Nursing Department's Clinical Practice Manual. The Registered Nurse demonstrates initiative, knowledge and clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs, and manages all aspects of patient care, from assessment to evaluation, under the direct supervision of a designated nurse manager or supervisor.

The Staff Nurse also ensures the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in an environment that exemplifies best practice.

• BSN required
• Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
• BLS required
• Adheres to all I.C.A.R.E standards.
• Demonstrated basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients.
• Observational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Can function under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective skills in applying hospital standards in area of service, teamwork, communication, respect for others, and time/priority management.

• Adheres to all C.A.R.E. standards.
• Staff RN, Psychiatry, Ambulatory/Float: adheres to all I.C.A.R.E standards.
• Demonstrates basic analytic thinking necessary for group patient care.
• Observational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Functions under stress with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Applies hospital standards in service area, teamwork, communication, respect for others, and time/priority management.
