RN - Psychiatry Ketamine Infusion Clinic - MGH

About This Role

The RN in the Psychiatry Ketamine Infusion Clinic at Mass General Brigham provides direct clinical care focused on outpatient infusion for patients with treatment-resistant depression and other psychiatric conditions. This role is ideal for a registered nurse with substantial infusion experience who is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.

• Location: Boston, MA
• Facility: The General Hospital Corporation
• Schedule: Full-Time, 3 twelve-hour shifts (9a-9:30pm) on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Pay: $41.72 - $105.65/Hourly

• Deliver direct patient care with respect and sensitivity to a specialized patient population.
• Collaborate with the attending psychiatrist and anesthesiologist for efficient patient outcomes.
• Set up clinic sessions with necessary supplies and equipment.
• Ensure accuracy of patient consent documentation.
• Insert and remove IVs, and administer medication via syringe pump.
• Document in the patient record and monitor for reactions during and after infusions.
• Confirm follow-up appointments and ensure patient safety for discharge.
• Provide patient and family education.

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience:

• Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
• Experience working with a psychiatric patient population strongly preferred
