Registered Nurse, Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit (PIMCU) - 36hrs
The Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit (PIMCU) provides care for a patient population requiring a more acute level of care but do not require invasive monitoring. Common diagnoses are asthma, bronchiolitis, diabetic keto acidosis, apnea, multisystem disorders and patients needing BiPAP and CPAP. Key responsibilities include providing care for PIMCU patients, working collaboratively to provide family-centered care as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and working 36 hours rotating days/nights and every other weekend.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a minimum of 1 year of inpatient acute RN experience required, and 2+ years of acute pediatric RN experience preferred. Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN) is also required.
