, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering skilled clinical care, monitoring resident conditions, and ensuring all care is provided in accordance with established standards and individualized care plans.
- The Critical Care Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to critically ill or unstable patients in intensive care units.
- This role involves continuous patient assessment, administration of medications and treatments, operation of advanced medical equipment, collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and support for patients' families during critical situations.
- Operate and monitor life-support equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond rapidly to emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and family members about treatment plans and recovery expectations.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN/LPN in the state of Massachusetts
. - Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
- Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
