Registered Nurse - Oncology

Boston, MA

Contract | Days | 10-Hour Shifts | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM | No Weekends or Holidays | 72 Hours Guaranteed Biweekly

• Provide direct hematology/oncology nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting
• Perform heavy triage, responding to patient questions and clinical concerns
• Obtain authorizations for imaging studies including PET scans
• Process medication renewals and manage related patient communications
• Complete administrative documentation including FMLA paperwork
• Coordinate patient care across the hematology/oncology care team

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of hematology/oncology (Hem Onc) nursing experience required
• ONS/ONCC chemotherapy and immunotherapy certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Experience with hematology patient care and care coordination

• 4–5 years of hematology/oncology experience (may offset requirement for formal care coordinator experience)
• Prior experience in an outpatient oncology clinic or ambulatory care setting

• Consistent, predictable schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements
• Guaranteed hours biweekly provide stable, reliable income throughout your contract
