Registered Nurse – Oncology

Boston, MA

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM | 10-Hour Shifts | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly

• Provide direct nursing care to hematology/oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting
• Perform heavy triage, assessing and responding to patient inquiries and clinical concerns
• Coordinate and obtain authorizations for diagnostic imaging, including PET scans
• Process medication renewals and manage related patient communications
• Complete administrative tasks including FMLA paperwork and care coordination documentation
• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy in accordance with established protocols and certifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of hematology/oncology (Hem Onc) nursing experience required
• ONS/ONCC chemotherapy and immunotherapy certification required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Experience with hematology patient care and care coordination

• 4–5 years of hematology/oncology experience may substitute for formal care coordinator experience
• Familiarity with outpatient oncology clinic workflows and patient triage processes

• Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements, offering a consistent and predictable work-life balance
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly providing stable, reliable income throughout the contract
