Locum Physician Assistant or NP - OB​/GYN Surgery

Locum Surgical OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Greater Boston, Massachusetts

Support a busy inpatient OB/GYN and surgical service providing high‑acuity obstetric and gynecologic care in a collaborative hospital setting near Boston. This locum assignment offers consistent surgical responsibilities, experienced physician support, and the opportunity to practice at the top of your license.

• Dates: ASAP after credentialing for a 3‑month assignment
• Schedule: Full‑time, 3 shifts per week, 7:00 PM‑7:00 AM, nights and weekends
• Provide inpatient OB and GYN care, including Labor & Delivery, postpartum, maternity, and gynecologic consults
• First assist for C‑sections and emergent gynecologic surgeries
• Manage OB triage, post‑operative rounding, and inpatient and ED GYN consults
• Approximately 1,200 annual deliveries
• Work alongside 24/7 OB physician, PA, and Certified Nurse Midwife coverage
• Epic EMR
• Local Massachusetts providers strongly preferred

• Be able to do the job as described.
• MSN or Master’s degree required.
• PA‑C or Nurse Practitioner with OR First Assist certification required.
• Will also consider a CNM if dual‑certified as NP + First Assist.
• Active Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Experience with surgical first assist, including C‑sections and emergent GYN procedures
• Ability to interpret fetal heart rate tracings.
• Experience with Epic preferred.
