Maternal Child Health (MCH)

All shifts available.

As an RN in the Maternal Child Health Department, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional patient-centered care to the family unit across Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatric Intensive Care, and Inpatient Pediatrics.

• Deliver nursing care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and education of patients.
• Communicate with healthcare team members, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter‑professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records and enter/computerize data.
• Follow BMC nursing guidelines and policies.
• Assist leadership team with quality improvement projects as needed.

• Licensed registered nurse in Massachusetts.
• Maternal Child Health experience required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for certain units.
• Diploma, ASN, or BSN (preferred). Ability to obtain a BSN within 4 years.
• Relevant clinical experience in maternity, neonatal or pediatric care.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Fluency in another language is a plus.
