Med Surg RN Experienced Per Diem​/Nights

About This Role

The Med Surg RN is responsible for planning and providing patient care for assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care. This per diem position is ideal for experienced RNs who can manage complex patient needs and work rotating shifts.

• Pay: $41.36 - $100.00/Hourly
• Location: Jamaica Plain, MA
• Facility: Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc.
• Schedule: Per Diem, Rotating

• Plan and provide patient care for assigned patients.
• Manage patients by assuming full responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate initiative, knowledge, and clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs.
• Assure the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model.
• Adhere to all I.C.A.R.E standards.
• Show evidence of basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients.
• Demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities.
• Function under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Apply hospital standards in service, teamwork, communication, and time/priority management.

• Education: BSN required
• Experience: Medical/surgical/telemetry experience preferred
