Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Infusion

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Infusion Unit position in a large academic medical center, requiring oncology infusion expertise and an active MA RN license.

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of oncology infusion experience in an academic medical center (AMC)
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient infusion experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Strong IV insertion and patient assessment skills required
• Experience with complex GI chemotherapy regimens required
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted

• Work in a 60-bed/chair outpatient infusion unit within a Division of Hematology-Oncology at a large academic medical center (AMC)
• Oncology infusion patient population requiring complex medication regimens, including complex GI regimens
• Strong IV skills and patient assessment are central to daily practice
• 36‑hour per week day/night rotating schedule
• Required to work every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH)
• Epic EMR used for charting
• 13‑week contract
• Administer oncology infusion therapies, monitor patient responses, and manage complex chemotherapy regimens in a high-volume outpatient setting
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
• No validated parking is available at this Boston location; public parking is available at candidate's expense, and public transportation is recommended
