Job Summary
Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, Inc. – New Building 4 East. A per diem RN must be able to work 16 shifts every 6 months, including mandatory weekend, summer, and winter holiday shifts, with rotating day/night schedules.
The Registered Nurse is a professional nurse registered in Massachusetts responsible for planning and providing patient care per Nursing Standards of Care. The RN demonstrates initiative, knowledge, and clinical skills to care for patients with complex needs, assumes full responsibility for assessment, plan, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, and reports to a designated nurse manager or supervisor.
ResponsibilitiesPlan, implement, and evaluate patient care for assigned patients, ensuring adherence to Nursing Standards and the Patient and Family Centered Care Model. Work rotating day/night shifts, weekends, and annual holiday rotations as per per diem schedule.
Qualifications- BSN required
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
- BLS required
- Medical/surgical/telemetry experience preferred
- Adheres to all I.C.A.R.E standards
- Demonstrates analytic thinking for patient group care
- Displays observational skills and prioritization ability
- Functions well under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Applies hospital standards in teamwork, communication, respect, and time/priority management
